This picture might bring a smile to your face because we all know how relatable it is. With the constant influx of assignments, exams, and projects, it can get hard to breathe, let alone find time to do things that fulfill you. However, it's not impossible. Here are a few tips to help you get through that especially stressful work phase:

  • Establish distinct limits. Set up specified working hours and try to stick to them.

  • Set your duties' priorities. Make a list of your daily responsibilities, beginning with the most crucial and pressing ones.

  • To refresh your mind and body throughout the day, take regular, brief pauses.

  • To ensure you have the energy to face the day ahead, aim for at least 7-8 hours of slumber each night.

  • Regular exercise is an excellent method to lower stress and improve your general wellbeing.

  • Learn to say no. It's acceptable to decline invitations that conflict with your goals.

  • Make time for your hobbies. Schedule time each week to engage in activities that are not related to your job.

  • Spend time with cherished ones. Schedule regular time to speak with family and friends.

  • Turn off the technology. To establish limits and lessen stress, turn off the technology during non-work hours.

  • Practice mindfulness. Spend a few minutes each day engaging in mindfulness activities like deep breathing or meditation.

  • Set attainable targets. To prevent feeling overwhelmed, set reasonable objectives for yourself.

  • Take a vacation. Refresh yourself and fill your time with activities you love.

  • Eat a healthy, balanced diet. Eating a healthy, balanced diet can improve your physical and emotional well-being.

  • Be prepared. Reduce stress and remain on top of your workload by staying organized.

  • Delegate duties. To lessen your workload, learn to assign tasks to others when you can.

  • Practice time management. To increase your productivity, use time management strategies like the Pomodoro method.

  • Find a workplace that is encouraging. Surround yourself with a workplace that is encouraging and prioritizes work-life balance.

  • Take advantage of your travel time by reading, listening to music or podcasts, or simply unwinding.

Welcome to The Positivity Project

As a group of college students, we have a lot on our plate. When our group came together to create a project, we thought to ourselves, "What do we need as a community?" and we realized that we could all use some form of support and positive encouragement. The Positivity Project is just that- an initiative to spread positivity and foster a supportive environment for students to thrive in!

Self-care. Productivity. Connection.

Our website has a collection of tips and tools to help students navigate the challenges of life. We have segregated topics into three categories, namely Personal Life, Professional Life, and Social Life to help you find just what you are looking for!
